Xcel Energy’s Renewable Energy Percentage (RE%) Forecast helps customers see when more renewable energy, like wind and solar, is powering the grid. The forecast provides a color-coded breakdown of RE% for the next seven days and is updated daily. Using this tool, customers can decide when to charge their vehicle or run large appliances, and align energy usage with the times when renewable energy is at its peak.
